First Time Access

Access requires Two Factor Authentication.

  • Tap
  • Check your mobile device for a text message with the code
  • Enter the Validation Code
  • Tap
Every month, or if your browser's cookies are cleared, you will be prompted for re-authentication.
Searching for Documents

If you know the Patient ID (MR #), enter it and tap . Otherwise, the following fields can be used to look up a Patient ID:

  • Patient Status
  • Program
  • Patient Name

When searching by patient name, the results will have the following symbols that indicate the patient's status:

  •  Pending
  •  Active
  •  Discharged
  •  NTUC
Only patients with documents are searchable.
To clear all the search fields, tap

After tapping , results will appear in tabular format with the most recent documents shown first. In order to open a document, tap on the category name link, which will open the file in a new window.

  • If a Pre-Admit Evaluation is available, it will be displayed at the top of the list
  • The table will display 10 documents at a time
  • When more documents are available, the paging controls underneath the table allow you to view the next set of documents
Email Documents

You can email specific documents by selecting them using the check boxes on the lefthand side of the table.

  • Use the "check all" box in the header to select all documents on the current page
  • Tap on at the bottom of the page to have them sent to your VITAS email address
  • To ensure encryption when forwarding the email to outside recipients, type Encrypt: in the Subject line
  • The first time your outside recipient receives an encrypted email, he/she will be prompted to complete a form to activate their Vitas Secure Email
